Biotin is a member of the B Vitamin family (B7) and plays an important role in supporting normal hair, skin and nail metabolism. However, as a water soluble nutrient, Biotin cannot be stored in the body long-term. Because of this, a frequent intake is required to support the normal functioning of the nervous system and metabolism of hair, skin and nails.
Since its discovery, research has shown Biotin is present to some extent in most foods (including, meat, egg yolks, fish and beans). However, it has been argued that our dietary intake of Biotin has been overestimated, as the Biotin in food is not fully absorbed. An insufficient intake of Biotin can cause a range of health problems, including poor nail and hair growth.

Biotin plays an important role in supporting normal hair, skin and nail metabolism, so poor hair growth and brittle nails are two frequent problems encountered by people with a Biotin deficiency.
Biotin also supports energy production, allowing our bodies to properly release energy from the food we eat. As an essential co-enzyme Biotin supports the metabolism of protein, carbohydrate and fat.
How should I take Biotin?
Each small and easy to swallow tablet contains 10,000mcg (10mg) of Biotin. We recommend taking a single tablet per day, ideally with food.

Suggested Use: As a food supplement, we recommend taking 1 tablet, once per day, with food. Do not exceed recommended dose.

Returns and Changes to Your Order
You're welcome to return your order to us for a refund, within 30 days of the purchase date. To be eligible for a full refund the item(s) must be in sellable, unopened and unused condition. If you would like to return an order, please contact us via our contact page.
If you would like to cancel your order, we ask that you do so within 1 hour after it has been placed. To cancel - simply contact us with your order number and reason for cancellation and we'll take care of the rest.
Orders placed on weekdays between 2pm and 3pm cannot be cancelled as we are working to ship orders within this time.
